JFK Values with Jackie Garrick, CEO of Whistleblowers Of America

James Felton Keith is joined by former Department of Defense employees Jackie Garrick and Paul Pearson of the whistleblowersofamerica.org

Join Jackie on Tuesday the 25th. Journalists and whistleblowers need each other, but what are the rules of engagement? Whistleblowers are motivated to tell their stories but knowing when you are ready to go public is important to success. It takes planning, research preparation, content development and editorial approval before a story goes to press.

Ms. Garrick founded Whistleblowers of America (WoA) as a nonprofit in 2017, which provides voluntary peer support to those suffering the impacts of Workplace Traumatic Stress. She developed the Whistleblower Retaliation Checklist© (WRC) to identify negative psychosocial impacts on victimized employees and provides forensic testimony. She is on the Board of Directors for Brighton Marine, a homeless program in Boston. Over the last few years, Professor Garrick, has taught for the University of Southern California, School of Social Work and has supervised interns from the University of West Florida. She is also founder of the Workplace Promise Institute opened in Pensacola, FL in 2021, which is also the title of the annual conference WoA hosts.
